Now that I have my Moleskine, I have all the preliminary tools I need to do everything I want this summer. You see the Moleskine, to refresh your mind, is a river in which your ideas and dreams can flow. How I came to this conclusion was the wealth of mind wanderings and wonderings that are contained in the pages of this simple black book. With that being said, my plans for this summer atre this; to simply master everything. Is this possible? Maybe, but highly difficult. So it probably won't happen. However, the vigor in which I pursue my summer endevors, is someting I can control. I'm probably not going to reach August correcting my friends Spanish when they use the wrong conjugation (is this something that I can say about Spanish, it sounds like it could work). So, what to master is the question now. Sitting in 158 of the ECS building all day for the last 5 weeks left me with ample time to ponder. Here is the short list........Oh and if you have suggestions, comment below..........
Cook: there is no reason for having a Moleskine for recipes and not using it. But here's the catch. I want the food to be good.....better than good. And..... I don't want it to cost the Earth. No shrimp....The Gulf of Mexico is responsible for the fourth largest by-catch incedents in the world because of shrimping...Though it's still better than Asian shrimp, number 2 (if you are wondering, Alaska is number 1). Also, I WILL GROW MY OWN FOOD. Furhtermore, I want to spread my range of dishes because I'm just so tired of eating the same thing over and over and over. More of this topic to come. perfecting Maduros is quite high on the list as well.
Side note: the first thing I'm going to is fix this chair I'm in on the balcony. It is making my back hurt>>>>
Guitar: Drew Stanford is pretty good, I want to be like him. I already can strum and I know a few songs but there is so much more.
Get in Shape: I know every guy (maybe girls....I don't know) says this every summer. But it's getting to be ridiculous.
Espanol: See how I did that. I wrote in Spanish to tell you I'm going to learn Spanish. I have the tools. I have friends. I have a city that speaks it.....It's on.
I have an extensive reading list: Future Blog
Now all of these things are great. You may have your own, I hope you do. But what really matters this summer is I will refining my plan to save the world. This is a life-long process, but I'm going to start with a species of fish that has moderate vagility. a volcano, and the sun. There are many many things still.....so if you have any ideas, as well as what you are planning to do this summer, leave them in the comments section.

Nowhere did you talk about finishing your handcrafted quiver, nor did you mention catching a barrel on a selection from said quiver. *tear*
ReplyDeleteBut the food does sound good, and props on the moleskine.
