Here is a summary of my daily routine. 5:45 AM I'm up, If I'm lucky. No alarm needed. I'm lucky if it's not earlier than that. It's brutal but necessary. I'm In the garden by around 8-8:30. Watering seedlings (you should see them right now, and you will...soon), pulling weeds, killing snails. Then the rest of the morning is literature review, lunch, teach my classes and just like that the day is done. It's now 7:30 PM. But please don't get me wrong. I love My classes. I love teaching, and every time I teach it re-enforces that, that is what I'm going to do.....But I have a problem. I can't seem to find an off switch. Maybe it's the constant availability to me the internet provides my students. Or could it be that I might just be working too much? Currently I'm two books behind on my summer reading schedule (what? shouldn't reading be relaxing, you have a schedule?). I'm currently backing up books to my winter break reading list. But there has to be a way to turn off school and work, right? Maybe an Old professor of mine will stumble across this and help me out. Drop a hint or two. I just don't know how to do it.
